It's great for tiles. The proprietor may not the most personable guy to deal with, but certainly the most comprehensive collection in the city when it comes to tiling. Staff's alright. As always, bigger pockets = better service. Probably best avoided for flooring stone. Again, bath fittings pricing is at par with other stores in the city, but i would rather have a more personalized experience elsewhere. There's little to no collection of marble flooring options - the store is geared around tiles and granite. When it comes to rest, this place won't particularly delight you, but it won't disappoint either. It's a relative thing - relative to the local competition, it's great. In some ways it's overpriced as well, specifically i am talking of the low volume options. It might be a small city premium. I'm not completely confident that the staff understands the difference between porcelain and ceramic tiles, although I probably don't either. i reckon i have only ever seen proper porcelain subway tiles at one or two places. It's the most extensive variety we've got here in Haldwani. Mosaic tiles, subway tiles, you'll find it all. Just be sure to bargain well and hopefully do your pricing research and tile selection on a separate trip from the day you make your purchasing decisions. I'll definitely consider buying from them again should the need arise. I'll definitely be a lot smarter about the deal the next time round. It'll be between buying from them or buying from Delhi, i won't consider another store in HDW. And this is specifically for tiles alone. Buying from Delhi of course would require a larger order size to distribute transportation costs, so it's always a toss up. For stone there are better places like Anand Marbles and Siddhi Vinayak Marbles. Anand Marbles is better to deal with, the one on Rampur Road anyway. Siddhi Vinayak can get you better variety, potentially. TL;DR: great for tiles, okay for granite and bathroom & plumbing fittings, not much in terms of sandstone and Indian marble.
